Difference between Maintained and Non-maintained wiring

Diagram on the battery pack is for maintained use (this will allow LED light to be used on daily basis and light will go on emergency power in the event of power cut).

If you want to make it non-maintained then remove LED driver from the wiring (light will only come on in the event of power cut).
